Book Your Vehicle Transport in Advance:        

Always try to book your vehicle 2 weeks in advance of your scheduled date of availability for vehicle pick up.  Pick ups are scheduled for your convenience and are always within a 2 to 3 day window.    When your vehicle must be picked up on a certain day we will bring the vehicle to our terminal and hold for the truck at no charge.
Auto Transport Time and Delivery Schedules:
Delivery days from West to East usually run  8-12 days.  South to North is about 4-6 days.  AutoDrive’n’Ship will usually quote 2 weeks or less for delivery between Los Angeles and New York/New England.  From Los Angeles to the Southeast, GA/FL/NC  7 to 10 days. CA to TX 5 to 8. Often times, weather conditions are a major factor as well as the time of the year and location of the transport.  We will always strive to pick up and deliver within your needs.
Preparing your Automobile for Transport:
 
We will pick up the vehicle just as you would drive it everyday. We do not require you to alter the level of fuel or anything else for that matter. Please advise if your vehicle is altered or oversize. However, it is important that you do not pack your vehicle with personal items. Our policy has always been to confine personal items to the trunk of a car or below window height in an SUV/PU/Van. The Department of Transportation "D.O.T" is very concerned with the total weight of the truck and its contents for safety reasons. Secure any loose items and advise my trucker of any problems.
 
Auto Shipping Insurance Coverage Included on All Vehicles 
 
Transport vehicles will always have Liability and Cargo Insurance. 
  1. Liability Insurance - This policy has a maximum coverage of $1,000,000 on the contents of the carrier. Basically this policy will cover any damages due to driver error. 
  2. Cargo Insurance - This policy limits are determined by the types of vehicles that are carried on the truck and can change from truck to truck. There is a minimum of $50,000 coverage per vehicle on the carrier required by the "D.O.T." This policy covers the scratches and dents caused by truck or trucker during transport. 
Inoperable Auto Shipping Available
When a vehicle requires the use of a "Winch" to assist in the loading process or jump starting, there will be a $50. To $100.  charge for these services.  Generally, we have to determine if the vehicle Starts, Rolls, Brakes and Steers. Fees will apply based on the vehicles condition at Pick up.  
Does Vehicle Size Matter when Shipping?
 

Of course it does. A sedan is usually about $100 less than a small truck to transport. SUV's are about $ 75 more than a sedan to ship based on their weight and size.
